About the building

 

Balogh-house was designed by award-winning architects Vancza. The building and it interior emphasise minimalist characteristics; this is carried out by large, open spaces and simplistic geometry without compromising the practical value. The large glass surfaces and the locally mined ragstone of Sutto contribute to the harmony and elegance that is a signature of this building comprising a colourful addition to the surrounding area of Gellert Hill. 

 

The aerial buoyancy of the interior is aided by the custom-designed floor-to-ceiling internal doors with hidden hinges and completed by Olivetti handles. The two bathrooms in each flat boasting Laufen bathtubs and Hannsa bathroom appliances including professional shower massage spray-heads fully harmonise with the exclusive appearance provided by sanitary equipment of equally genuine Catalano design.

 

The practical comfort is established by state-of-the-art solutions, such as combi Buderus boilers, providing hot water access and floor as well as ceiling heating available in each apartment. The integrated, individually controlled ceiling coolant system sustains a fresh environment during the hot months of summer without the issues of air-conditioning.

 

The hardwood parquet is made of the best quality seven-layered oak. Should one want to add fireplaces, the connections are ready and fully built-out.

 

Transport between the car-park and the flats is provided by a glass-walled elevator. Alarm systems and video-enabled entry systems are installed in each of the flats to provide for a secure environment.
